VM: What, if any ringtones or ringback tones do you have set up on your phone?
FERGIE: The ringtone I have on my phone is Tubular Bells “The Excorcist” theme.
TABOO: On my phone are “Boom Boom Pow” and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
VM: You’ve just released your new album The E.N.D.! What about this latest release is most exciting for you? Is there anything in particular you hope fans take away from the album?
FERGIE: I’m excited to be back with the boys. I miss them and this album is a celebration of us being together. I’m excited to go on the E.N.D. world tour and relive those moments together. I hope that people use this album as an escape to enjoy time with friends and family. This album is a celebration of life.
VM: We’ve heard you describe The E.N.D. as an album that is not so much about endings but one that is about beginnings. What new things did you try on this album that made it different from any of the work you’ve done before?
TABOO: This album The E.N.D. is our most focused album as far as direction being dance oriented and faster bpm, the only collaboration is with producer/DJ David Guetta.
VM: Tell us a little about your new album, The E.N.D.? What are your favorite tracks on the record?
FERGIE: This album is an electronic journey. I enjoy different tracks every week because it’s all new and fresh. Right now I’m feeling “Rock That Body” because it reminds me of being at a club. And “Electric City” because it plays homage to Dub Reggae. I’m having fun performing “Meet Me Halfway” because it has a very theatrical feel to it.
TABOO: My favorite songs are “Rockin To The Beat”, “Ring-A-Ling”, “I Gotta Feeling” and “Rock That Body.”
VM: What is your favorite food?
TABOO: My favorite food is Filipino food (beefsteak and cinigang) and Mexican food (carne asada, Spanish rice, cosido, albondigas).
APL.DE.AP: Chicken Adobo, Fish, Spaghetti, and Filipino Food
VM: Five successful studio albums is a huge accomplishment! How do you keep things fresh for each new album?
APL.DE.AP: Staying connected to the music scene by visiting clubs worldwide and new artists.
VM: Black Eyed Peas is one of the biggest groups in the world. You have topped charts all over the globe and been nominated for (and won) a number of awards. Have any of these accolades meant more to you then the others?
APL.DE.AP: Every award I have received has meant as much as others because it is a reminder that our dedication and hard work is being recognized.
VM: With global success come exciting travel adventures! What have been your favorite places to visit and why?
APL.DE.AP: Not to be biased but the Philippines because it feels good to visit my homeland and show my friends where I am from. It is a way to share my country with my friends and be embraced by my countrymen. In addition, having the President attend our concert was a profound moment in my life. Honestly, I am fascinated by all cultures and always have looked forward to visiting new countries....
VM: And is there anywhere you haven’t been yet that you would really like to visit?
APL.DE.AP: Egypt
